KCCP Elliptical Pipe Details

Concrete Elliptical Pipe Applications:
Cretex precast horizontal elliptical pipe is the ideal situation for larger conduits when limited head room is a problem.
Hydraulically Efficient:
Horizontal elliptical pipe provides greater hydraulic capacity than the equivalent size round pipe - but requires 17% less head room.
Specifications:
Cretex designs are available for larger sizes and stronger supporting strengths than currently shown in ASTM Specification C507. If you have a special requirement, check with your local Cretex representative.
Joints:
Carefully formed tongue and groove joints provide for uniform assembly and a even flow line. If joint sealing is required, flexible compound may be used.
Specials:
Cretex factories will fabricate bends, tees and other shapes to expedite your project.

This shape may also be installed as a vertical elliptical pipe utilized under high fills and in low flow conditions.
